But you didn’t provide an argument for AGI being more effective at replacing humans at these tasks rather than more and more specialized AIs.
The claim “AGI will be more effective at replacing humans in using specialized-AIs” was assumed in my argument, and also not criticized by Szabo, who thinks his argument works even granting the existence of such AGI:
Even if there was such a thing as a “general intelligence” the specialized machines would soundly beat it in the marketplace. It would be very far from a close contest.
